Book Review: PHOTO FINISH by Terry Ambrose

Posted by pnaessensshow on March 2, 2013 at 11:35 PM

I’m a big fan of mystery suspense novels. Always have been and always will be. My problem is that I don’t have very much time to devote to reading the that way I’d like to so when I do have the opportunity to read a book with great characters and a story line that makes a book difficult to put down I’m in pure heaven.

PHOTO FINISH by author Terry Ambrose is just such a book.

Set in Hawaii, PHOTO FINISH is an action packed suspense/mystery novel with believable characters, great dialogue and most importantly a flowing believable tale that will keep you interested, entertained and mostly in suspense dear reader.

How can you not enjoy a book that begins with a body being thrown out of a plane?

The main character, Wilson McKenna makes the book in my opinion. He’s witty, clever, self deprecating and most importantly brutally honest about who he is and more importantly who he isn’t. He likes to check out the young girls and he likes his wine. He also has a soft spot for a hot chick with an interesting story and Harris Galvin fits that bill to a tee.

This page turning novel gets 5 stars from me.

I enjoyed PHOTO FINISH so much that I invited author Terry Ambrose to join me on The Writers Showcase Podcast. You can listen to that program here.

You can purchase PHOTO FINISH here.

Disclaimer; I received a complimentary copy of PHOTO FINISH from the author for review purposes only. Never was I asked to give a favorable review nor was it considered as payment for an appearance on any Phil Naessens Media programs.
